LiquidGym™ Physiotherapy is Making Waves

liquidgym3_nov16A revolutionary concept in physiotherapy and training, LiquidGym™ Therapy and Training Centre, is an 8,000 sq. ft. one-of-a-kind complex featuring the latest in hydrotherapy, hydrotraining, and land-based therapy.

“We are focused on innovation in therapy care,” explains owner Karen Snyder. “We are the only facility in Canada that offers underwater treadmills, underwater bikes, and an AlterG™ Anti-Gravity land-based treadmill, all under one roof. Our state-of-the-art water and land equipment provides a unique and positive atmosphere for our patients’ rehabilitation needs”.

LiquidGym™ can treat a wide variety of conditions from acute or chronic pain, many forms of arthritis, pre-op and post-op rehabilitation, neurological conditions, geriatric rehabilitation, cardiovascular impairments, and many more.  The centre also offers registered massage therapy.

The 3000 sq. ft. aquatic area has four pools with underwater treadmills, underwater bikes, multiple hydrotherapy stations for upper and lower body rehab, and an endless pool swim current.

Our land physiotherapy facility is over 1000 sq. ft. and features state-of-the-art equipment, including an AlterG™ Anti-Gravity Treadmill. With precise unweighting technology, the AlterG™ Anti-Gravity Treadmill can help move rehabilitation or training forward while lessening the effect of gravity on muscles and joints. The AlterG™ helps improve mobility, balance and strength in a safe environment for people with balance and strength limitations. It also provides a safe way to lose weight and exercise.

Liquidgym™ also offers a “Gym” component at the facility. If you are interested in learning more about what is available to gym members come for a FREE 30 minute orientation before joining LiquidGym™. This ½ hour one-on-one session allows you to try our underwater treadmills, underwater bikes and/or endless pool.

Experience what our members are saying “It’s absolutely amazing the ease of movement and workout I get from being in the water”.
